At Luff, we believe in nurturing every child, helping them grow as learners, leaders, and kind, responsible members of our school family. This year, we are particularly excited to continue our journey as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. This is more than just a curriculum; it’s a whole-school transformation process that empowers students with the leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. Through the 7 Habits, your child will learn how to take initiative, set goals, work with others, and make positive choices that benefit both themselves and their community. Here are a few things that make our Lighthouse school shine:

Leadership Opportunities: Your child will have many chances to serve as a leader, whether it’s through classroom leadership roles, school-wide action teams, service learning, or special projects. We believe that every student has unique strengths and we’re dedicated to helping them find their voice.

Celebrations of Learning: Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting various events to showcase our students’ leadership, academic growth, attendance, and achievements. Our students take charge of their learning by tracking their goals and leading their own conferences. This is a powerful way for them to monitor their progress and celebrate their successes.

Community Involvement: We know that a strong school community is built on partnership and collaboration. We encourage you to stay connected with us through ParentSquare. Some other opportunities include joining PTA, volunteering, attending school events, and partnering with your child's teacher to support their goals at home and school.
